UPDATE: We're pretty sure Iggy has recovered to his previous good health! We think it was the grueling heat that had him hyper active and hyper ventilating too! Today we observed that he has returned to normal!

Well.....Thats when I started writing this stupid post... at 10:30 this morning...after breakfast and returning.
We dropped Callie and Henrietta Puddy Cat off this morning at eight o'clock and did the necessary paperwork to have them spayed and given their current shots. The Vet will call us when they are completed and ready to be picked up and brought home. After this, all our cats here on the farm will be spayed and there will not be any more kittens to deal with.
Just Cats is a great place to take your felines for all their health care needs. Check out their web site by clicking on Just Cats, anywhere on this page, it's great.

Yesterday, Vick painted the roadside egg stand red, inside and out. She did an excellent job! It's good she doesn't mind doing this kind of thing, because I can't be in the bright sunlight and she can be. Her antibiotic isn't one to make you sensitive to the sun like mine is.

I went and picked up the cash box we wanted made by the welder down the road. Not what we expected....not what we're gonna use either. There was a misunderstanding in the dimensions I guess. It is to be mounted on the 4x4 post inside and this thing is at least 8x8 and rather rough to be adorning the job we did on the egg stand. I'll get a welder and make it myself as usual, and then I know it will be up to MY standards

Today, I'll cut out the door opening in the bathroom to except the hot tub tomorrow when they deliver. We'll remove the door trim around the sliding glass door in the computer room so we can remove the mounting screws quickly and set that door aside and then replace it when the tub is in. Once I have the doorways ready for the tubs delivery, I'll start the wiring and breaker installation in the basement beneath the installation site. I need to replace the present wire with a larger double pole wire to carry the increased amperage and add that second leg for the 220 volt supply. The Jacuzzi was only 110 volts @15amp load, so that wire will serve as a puller for the new line. That will be a piece of cake compared to getting this triangular hot tub into position, through a gate in the back yard, onto the deck and through two doors, then twisted and set into place. Once that is completed, everything else is a piece of cake! Here is a picture of where it goes. That's a big difference from what it looked like two weeks ago, right?

This is the opening the tub must go through for installation...
