The contractor stopped in yesterday and dropped of drain pipe and fittings, telling Vick he was coming over this morning to start the job. He hasn’t shown up yet, but I suppose he went somewhere else to finish up another job this morning.
We have decided to run some errands, so as soon as he shows up and we talk to him, we will take off to run those errands and get back here. We will not leave the animals out, that way we don’t have to worry about them being in Steve’s way as he digs the ditch and has the fence gate open. Later, when he’s finished, we’ll turn them loose to run. Now it’s a waiting game. I’ll take plenty of pictures of the project for this evening.
