Where does all that water go when the snow melts anyway?

This morning when I got up at 6:45, the mercury was bobbing at 19° until the sun rose above the tree line...after that, it slowly began it's climb, to make it's way to temperatures above freezing. This will then pose another problem for folks along the Hudson and low lying stream beds that feed the Hudson River. Continuing a flood alert from this evening through Monday, with Tuesday also reaching 37°, one can expect a bunch of snow to disappear from the ground and find its way to the Hudson Bay. One must watch area creeks along low lying areas next to the road and bridges....especially in the darkness of night, when you can very easily come upon flooded sections of road without readily seeing them. By Tuesday evening, the temperature will again drop low enough to completely remove this threat which will again thrust us back into sub freezing temperatures, hopefully, this time minus any snow.

Whoa...... Here we go again...strollers sold here, but made in China are amputating babies' fingertips! There is an exposed canopy hinge that, has holes in it and should babies' finger be inserted into one of the holes at the time a parent flips the canopy either up or down, their finger can be completely amputated or severely cut. There have been multiple reports of just this happening which has prompted a recall of the strollers. These strollers are made by Graco and the three models being recalled are the passage, the spree and the Alano.
There is also another voluntary recall of Dorel Asia Cribs, in which the actual crib is falling apart and hurting kids. Is it just me or are these things all tied to the word ASIAN? Granted... Graco is a very popular company that has been producing baby furniture and related items for years, so I would assume they have just become caught up in the embarrassment of having items made in China, much like many other companies, but I've never heard of the Dorel Asian Crib before now. Hemmmmmm........ Dorel ASIAN...

Today, I'll get those other pictures of the bunnies in the brothel and post them here, unless something more important comes up for this morning. Vick's Mom and Dad are visiting this weekend, so we may go do something or take them to see something interesting if it warms up a little, otherwise we'll be out in the brothel working and cleaning anyway, so I'll post pictures sometime today. I was going to do it last evening, but it got late and I lost track of the daylight... You know pictures aren't that good taken in a dark room, so I decided to wait for this morning to snap new photos for the blog and web site.
