This is a continuing story of two people, four dogs, three barn cats, 8 pet turkeys, 6 guinea fowl, 20 ducks, 125 chickens, 1 rabbit, 5 alpacas, 4 sheep, a Llama, A Sicilian Micro-mini donkey, a Sicilian mini donkey and her baby and their life long dream to run a little 9 acre farm in upstate New York. After you read the blog entries, go to our regular farm web site, and then to our wonderful farm and fiber Shop that we built and opened in 2011. The links are on the left.

Tuesday, June 29, 2010...We're Regretting The Cats & Everything About Them......
Hiss...Growl...ZIP...plop...
Pee-yew...What stench from a little shit like these. Ahhhhhhh, only nine more days and they will be gone...and we'll only have three then. If they make the mistake of crapping in the house, tearing it up or doing anything that resembles the three other Tasmanian Devils we're taking to animal kind.....they're outta here too! Right now, they climb the curtains, your leg, chase each other and fight and growl...hiss and spat...swat and bat! They are extremely more than I want to deal with!!! They shut down the electronics, climb the phone cords, hang from the upholstery and crap anywhere at will....after using the litter box while you're watching. Be gone...you little Bastards...is all that is in my mind. You're a good recipe for a nervous breakdown!!!!!
I've not been in a real good mood anyway; with all the crap we've been going through and getting the positive report of Lyme's infection from Vick's Doctor, simply added more fuel to the worry bonfire......She is now on a heavy antibiotic regiment for three weeks. Once completed, she is cured, but can be re-infected and her test will always come back positive!
I go to my Doctor on the first of the month for a check-up and consultation to try to see what my ailment is.....beyond being old and grouchy...... so we can try to get back to the business at hand and run this dream of ours together again.
I surely apologize to all our regular readers for the long span between posts sometimes, but there are days that you just zone out and lay on the couch sleeping or doing what's necessary to get by only... I'm sure you understand. It's not that I don't want to perpetuate the farm and our blog, but there are times you draw a blank and don't feel like talking about a crappy day...or several, for that matter. All too soon it wears off though and you rebound to face the world and all your problems again though. THIS....is where we are today again!
We must separate and unload the lumber in the truck so we can go to Lowe's and get what we need for the bathroom, so we will make a pile of lumber at the turkey house, and another at the front entrance to the barn. It is there that we will make the roadside egg stand and of course, we will finish the turkey house....but first we will get the flooring, linoleum and cedar tongue and groove wall boards from Lowe's and finish the bathroom to be ready for the hot tub delivery this week or next. Keep watching for pictures.....
Has anyone noticed that working with blogger has become a pain in the ass, as far as uploading pictures and working within the program???Or is that just me too?
Beginning to end pictures of the Jacuzzi to hot tube project...
