Wed. Feb. 16th... Running...Running...Always Running......And Getting Nowhere......

We run from the time we arise each morning, until we go up the stairs to bed and seem to never see the end of the tunnel. It is said there is light at then en d of that tunnel, but Vick and I have never gotten close enough to see any of that light. We are running things through eBay right now.... things you trip over each and every day. Things we don’t use need or want...but things that are too cool to throw away or have a significant value to them. Since we don’t have a use for these things and they are worth too much to give or throw away, we will run them across the auction block and give someone else an opportunity to pick them up at a good price. Some we started at $0.99, which is a daring thing to do, because one bid and it’s sold. You can only hope that at least two people recognize the value and take advantage of it, pushing the bid higher and higher until it reaches its actual value.....otherwise you’ve just given away a good item at a ridiculously low cost...and the person is a lucky bidder for sure. Some items, you just can’t take a chance on. These are items with a high value which will never go down. I have several of these to list right now. Two are impact guns....in like new condition. I used them one or two times I think. There are two full sets of heavy duty impact series sockets, which are actually new and unused. Anyway you look at it, we are getting rid of things we don’t need anymore and someone else can attain them.
We finished one half of the ceiling in the hospice gift shop last evening. It is really nice working out there with the wood stove burning. It’s such a comfy heat. Constant and soothing.....unlike the propane heat which was either too cold or too hot. We now need to finish the ceiling so we can get the pine board from Lowe’s and attack the walls. After that, we will fabricate the counter so we can get the computer and printer in there with the QuickBooks program for doing business and making receipts, sales slips and invoices. Later we will install a flooring of some kind and a set of zigzagged wall panels down the center of the room for artwork to be displayed on. We can smell the end of that tunnel in there, even though we cannot see the light at the other end. Once the ceiling is finished and the wall boards purchased and in there, ready for installation.......THEN, I suppose the light will begin to appear........................
