Today we have a Doctor’s appointment in Albany, so afterward we’ll do some shopping and grab a bite to eat and then when we return home, we’ll enjoy spending time with Vick’s parents, who are here to visit for a few days. Yesterday, we spent the day doing little things which needed done and visited intermittently, throughout the day. Vick repainted the door on the hospice gift shop from ice blue periwinkle to a Krylon periwinkle blue, which is much, much nicer. The ice blue was more of a lavender, which didn’t really fit the building well. As soon as Joan saw it, she said, “NO! Wrong periwinkle blue!” Thank you Joan... good eye for color as usual...as you were definitely right! Once again your artistic conception of color has shined through spectacularly! We continue to move ever closer to the opening date of September eleventh with growing excitement. More and ore of the elements are finalized and are falling into place daily now and we are continuing to get the word out about the opening...with flyers, word of mouth and personal invitations by our friends to their acquaintances and friends. We are hoping for nice weather and a large crowd that day. We are going to have live music by Vick’s Dad who was a lifetime, career entertainer from here in the Catskills, to Brooklyn...all the way to the resorts in Florida.

Nature’s Friend’s of Hospice, Inc. is a 501(C)(3), not-for-profit charity organization, whose sole purpose is to generate revenue for the Community Hospice program which serves seven counties in and around the Albany/Catskill area.
Nature’s Friend’s of Hospice, Inc. will transfer all revenues generated, to the Catskill branch of Community Hospice on a regular basis, to be used in any of the seven county branches which they feel needs it most.
Nature’s Friend’s of Hospice, Inc. is in no way affiliated with the community hospice program, except that we are a recognized donor organization supplying funding to them.
