Events of an Uneventful Nature, Remain Uneventful…

We’ve been busy the last few days…working on the rear deck “Oasis” project, which turned out pretty nice... including a few things in the front yard at the garden pond. Look below......

Bird bath won't hold water? Don't throw it away!

A beautiful addition to the garden pond area.....
I have been working in the basement where I was making a frame for Vick. She is framing her latest stained glass masterpiece called “the Galaxy” and asked if I would cut the frame pieces for her on the table saw. I finished that yesterday and she painted the pieces and will assemble it today.

We were in Albany all day yesterday after Vick’s acupuncture session and we made several stops…one being Staples, where I got the materials for labeling my fiber combs so I can get them offered on-line and on eBay.

We found another all metal hose reel (which we couldn’t find anywhere recently) so we bought it to keep for when we need a new one in a hurry. Anytime you lose a hose reel on the farm, you have additional work to do carrying water, so having one in storage, is a great idea.

Vick found a bunch of new succulents at Lowe’s and I found a little bigger fountain pump for our water fall on the rear deck. Vick made a neat hanger with the hanging glass teardrop below…Check it out. She also made a fairy garden out front at the garden pond. Everything is starting to look pretty sharp.

Vick has a bunch of started plants in the little hot house on the front porch...They go to the garden as soon as the frost threat is gone...

All our eggs and products are back out in the egg stand or back to their original storage area. Customers will be happy that they don’t have to come on the porch anymore. I think some people are afraid of the dogs barking when they come onto the porch, but we keep them inside, so it’s more than safe in the winter months.

Keep checking back on this site for more and more information and updated pictures as it becomes warmer and nicer. We have lots of plans in the making……
