The morning is one of clear blue promise........ promise of beautiful fall colors lighted by clear sunny skies and warm temperatures. 70 degrees by this afternoon they say and perfect weather for walking and picture taking in the New England Autumn mecca. We are traveling a good distance from Greene county to Troy, to Bennington Vt., to Newfane Vt., for their Heritage Festival and then back north to North Rupert and into Washington county, Ny., to Hebron to visit the Garden Works Farm for a program they are doing today too. It will be a nice ride through colorful scenery and all the pleasant fall things we've been waiting for and tonight we'll share the photographic trail we took. Stay tuned!
This is a continuing story of two people, four dogs, three barn cats, 8 pet turkeys, 6 guinea fowl, 20 ducks, 125 chickens, 1 rabbit, 5 alpacas, 4 sheep, a Llama, A Sicilian Micro-mini donkey, a Sicilian mini donkey and her baby and their life long dream to run a little 9 acre farm in upstate New York. After you read the blog entries, go to our regular farm web site, and then to our wonderful farm and fiber Shop that we built and opened in 2011. The links are on the left.
