WOW.....Vick and Lynda are going crazy with this church market day thingie...... They have so much stuff, that they should probably have three booths instead of sharing one between them and Judy! It's gonna be a jammed packed spot! I'll shoot some pictures of all the stuff they made later today for you to see, because they are gonna do a trial layout to see what everything looks like. I'll take pictures then.......
Last evening I worked on two windows they are gonna use as hanging displays for the stained glass. I had to make a stand for these two clear windows which they will suspend the stained glass from. They wanted this because the light would pass through the stained glass, because of the window they will be hanging on. I stopped at dusk to feed, water and close in the animals...then returned to finish the windows. After that I made signs for their displays and a business card, like below.
Also, then a card.......
By the time I realized it, it was after midnight, so I quit, knowing I could finish it today sometime. The "Market Day", is Saturday...so I don't have to worry about attending the last farmer's market. We probably wouldn't do so well there anyway, unless we were selling wood stoves or snow mobile suits. Man.....is it chilly up here! Everybody had to switch from short sleeves to long sleeves...at least in the morning and evening!
I want to work in the gift shop a bit today and anything else I can do during the rain which is supposed to last all day long. We won't leave the chickens and ducks out today, because all they do is stand under the truck, car or anything that shields them from the rain. They stand with their heads under their wings and sleep, so why not just stay in the coop where there is food, water and warmth? Tomorrow is another day......It will come soon enough. Perhaps we can shoot to Glenmont in the morning and pick up a ton of our wood pellets, so I can unload them into the shed while Vick and Lynda do their trial set-up... We'll see....
In the mean time.....enjoy the random selection of pictures below. They are from all over New York....during our many travels...
