Saturday, March 2

And here we are again…Saturday and we’re about to open the hospice gift shop. We have been opening it rain or shine (snow or cold) ever since the special opening we did last October, which was dedicated to Vick’s Dad Joe, my Mom Betty and Vick’s first hubby Carl. We will continue to open every weekend throughout the coming year if at all possible as a testimony of our dedication to this cause. Perhaps when folks see regular hours, they will be more apt to consider us a support group that’s here to stay.
We sell painted art work, pottery, books, music, tin ware, jewelry, stained glass, fiber, yarn, knitted and felted garments…and mostly all things are handmade by local artisans. Check out the latest pictures of the stocked shop. Stop by and watch our calendar on our website at Naturesfriendsofhospice.
Along with the pictures of the gift shop are some present and past pictures. Look at the one with dour feet of snow against the barn and covering the truck, then think how lucky we have been in the last few years. This picture was from 2008. The others are from present trips we’ve taken or just snapshot from around the farm.

Nothing more than a late year threat...

It melts and then falls again...but it can't linger any longer....

Beautiful View across the fields afterward.....
