In Every Life A Little Rain Must Fall…In Some A Monsoon…

Today is a dreary, wet and rainy day. We knew it would be like this, because the national weather service was predicting 100% rain today, with the possibility…now expectation of severe flooding in our area. The rain is not the biggest problem for many folks south of us though. They are predicting tornado warnings from the Carolina’s, north all the way to New York City. Mother Nature surely has a pissed off attitude for sure today.

Today and tomorrow will have lots of rain, but then it will clear off for the weekend and Father’s Day. Also this weekend will be Freedom Fest ‘13 which is being held Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Camp Pinnacle, which is located 20 minutes west of Albany, New York in the beautiful Helderberg Mountains, a little west of Voorheesville, NY.

Freedom Festivals of Coeymans, New York Inc. is a patriotic, nonprofit celebration of America’s greatness ~ her core values held by ordinary people making extraordinary contributions and sacrifices. We pay tribute to her heritage.

Check out the entire weekend plan and how to get there on their website at:

Vick and I will be there showing our support for the founders of our country and also for Bill and Jill Tryon, the founders of Freedom Fest ’13. We spend every Fourth of July with them and others by invitation…gathered on their farm to celebrate the holiday and show respect for our great nation.

Today however, we will do as the cat and after wading through the rain to feed and water all the animals in their shelters…we will cuddle on the couch to stay warm and dry too. Below are a few pictures of the day…

In the beginning.....

And now it's all over.....WHAT?
